Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with pears, plums, grapes, rosehips, and hazelnuts by Thomas Frederick Collier was sold in the British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of auction at Christies in London in March 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 765.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Frederick Collier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still-Life Of A Bird'S Nest With Apple Blossom, Primulas And Anemonies in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 8,198.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life with pears, plums, grapes, rosehips, and hazelnuts von Thomas Frederick Collier wurde im März 2003 in der Auktion British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of bei Christies in London versteigert.
