In April 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Cattle and sheep grazing in an autumnal landscape by Thomas Corsan Morton for GBP 235.00 (€ 306.19). This price was achieved in the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Corsan Morton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The gypsy caravan in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 4,063.00 (€ 5,847.77).
