The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,551.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tarrytown, New York is the most expensive artwork by Thomas Chambers that we have observed at auctions so far.
