Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Congested waters at the harbour mouth by Thomas Bush Hardy for GBP 500.00 (€ 597.50). This price was achieved in the auction Maritime Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bush Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Margate Harbor in July 2002 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,277.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Congested waters at the harbour mouth von Thomas Bush Hardy für GBP 500,00 (€ 597,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Maritime Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bush Hardy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Margate Harbor im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.680,00 (€ 29.277,26).
