Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Greek a Good Read by Théodore Jacques Ralli. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,546.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Jacques Ralli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 737,300.00 (€ 1,032,410.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek a Good Read von Théodore Jacques Ralli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.546,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodore Jacques Ralli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 737.300,00 (€ 1.032.410,75).
