Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Koller held the auction Gemälde (West), which included the work Nature morte à la caraffe. by Théodore Stravinsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 1,800.00 – 2,400.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 1,830.00 (€ 1,491.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Théodore Stravinsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Blooms In A Glass Vase By A Window, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,383.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Koller die Auktion Gemälde (West) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature morte à la caraffe. von Théodore Stravinsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 1.800,00 – 2.400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 1.830,00 (€ 1.491,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Théodore Stravinsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Blooms In A Glass Vase By A Window beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.383,41) versteigert wurde.
