Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Théodore Rivière achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Charles Auzoux Collection auction, the work Portrait En Pied D'Armand Sylvestre sold for EUR 1,312.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Rivière achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Désenchantée in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 49,482.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Théodore Rivière erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Charles Auzoux Collection wurde die Arbeit Portrait En Pied D'Armand Sylvestre für EUR 1.312,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodore Rivière erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Désenchantée im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 49.482,50).
