The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,303.89), 65% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Theodor Kleehaas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Pretzl Game sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of EUR 9,375.00.

Die Arbeit Childrens playtime von Theodor Kleehaas wurde im April 2001 in der Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.303,89) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Theodor Kleehaas; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Pretzl Game im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.375,00.
