In January 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A Greek Beauty by Théodore Jacques Ralli. The auction ended at the price of GBP 8,000.00 (€ 9,748.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Jacques Ralli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 737,300.00 (€ 1,032,410.75).

Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Greek Beauty von Théodore Jacques Ralli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 8.000,00 (€ 9.748,15) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodore Jacques Ralli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek The Captive (Turkish Plunder) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 737.300,00 (€ 1.032.410,75).
