A top price for Themistokles von Eckenbrecher - as previously expected
The work German a Busy Street In Tangiers by Themistokles von Eckenbrecher was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in May 2011. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,152.55), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, German a Busy Street In Tangiers is the most expensive artwork by Themistokles von Eckenbrecher that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
