Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2001 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work Thisbe (?) by The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths. The price achieved of GBP 69,750.00 (€ 110,994.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mary Magdalene Holding The Unguent Jar in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 866,500.00 (€ 1,092,928.94).

Im November 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Thisbe (?) von The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 69.750,00 (€ 110.994,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mary Magdalene Holding The Unguent Jar im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 866.500,00 (€ 1.092.928,94).
