In December 2009 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolours Evening Sale, which included the work A lady playing a lute in an interior by The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 133,250.00 (€ 150,310.69), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mary Magdalene Holding The Unguent Jar in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 866,500.00 (€ 1,092,928.94).

Im Dezember 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolours Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lady playing a lute in an interior von The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 150.310,69) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mary Magdalene Holding The Unguent Jar im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 866.500,00 (€ 1.092.928,94).
