In April 2004 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work The Penitent Saint Jerome In An Extensive River Landscape by The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 41,825.00 (€ 37,576.85), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mary Magdalene Holding The Unguent Jar in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 866,500.00 (€ 1,092,928.94).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 41.825,00 (€ 37.576,85) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von The Master Of The Female Half-Lengths erzielen.
