The work The Virgin of the Immaculate Conception with Saints Mark and Sebastian by The Master of Grossgmain was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 242,500.00 (€ 305,868.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Virgin of the Immaculate Conception with Saints Mark and Sebastian is the most expensive artwork by The Master of Grossgmain that we have observed at auctions so far.
