Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Starting Somewhere by ThankYouX was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in June last year. The price achieved of GBP 57,000.00 (€ 66,217.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by ThankYouX have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work As Good As You in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 289,800.00 (€ 343,334.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Starting Somewhere von ThankYouX wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 57.000,00 (€ 66.217,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von ThankYouX auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit As Good As You im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.800,00 (€ 343.334,73).
