Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait De Femme by Thai Tuân was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,815.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thai Tuân - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Table, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,260.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait De Femme von Thai Tuân kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.815,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Thai Tuân mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Table beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.260,15) versteigert wurde.
