This artwork by Tetsumi Kudo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2016. In the Art Contemporain / Contemporary Art auction, the work Cultivation sold for EUR 90,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tetsumi Kudo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 211,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tetsumi Kudo erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain / Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Cultivation für EUR 90.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tetsumi Kudo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 211.500,00 versteigert wurde.
