Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition, which included the work Brigitte Bardot on the Set of 'Les Petroleuses,' Spain by Terry O'Neill. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,320.00 (€ 7,549.91), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Terry O'Neill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brigitte Bardot, Spain in May this year with an auction result of GBP 48,260.00 (€ 56,150.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot on the Set of 'Les Petroleuses,' Spain von Terry O'Neill zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.320,00 (€ 7.549,91) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terry O'Neill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Spain im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.260,00 (€ 56.150,83).
