Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Free Spirits by Terry Duen Kelsey was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,351.90), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Terry Duen Kelsey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Friends in high places in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,312.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Free Spirits von Terry Duen Kelsey wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.351,90) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terry Duen Kelsey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Friends in high places im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.312,56).
