Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Terence Koh could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Treasure Your Vanity changed hands for GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,743.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terence Koh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Man/ Animal) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,899.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terence Koh konnte im Februar 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Treasure Your Vanity für GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.743,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terence Koh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Man/ Animal) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 100.899,74).
