It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,191.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tazio Secchiaroli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sophia Loren, 1972, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,764.76).

Die Arbeit Roma, Lo spogliarello di Aiké Nana al Rugantino (Rome, The stripping of Aiche Nana at Rugantino), 1958 von Tazio Secchiaroli wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.191,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%.
