Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Use Only as Intended II by Tazeen Qayyum. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,648.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Tazeen Qayyum have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2012 the work Making of a Miniature I, II, III was auctioned for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,806.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Use Only as Intended II von Tazeen Qayyum zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.648,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tazeen Qayyum konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2012 die Arbeit Making of a Miniature I, II, III für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.806,16) versteigert.
