A top price for Tazeen Qayyum
The work Making of a Miniature I, II, III by Tazeen Qayyum was sold in the South Asian Modern & Contemporary auction at Christies in New York in September 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,806.16). With this result, Making of a Miniature I, II, III is even the most expensive work of art by Tazeen Qayyum that we have observed at auctions so far.
