When the work Protrah2010 by Tatjana Valsang was auctioned at VAN HAM in June 2015, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 800.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 14 times as high at EUR 11,900.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tatjana Valsang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Raumebenen" sold at auction in September 2015 with the realized price of EUR 14,875.00.
Kunstwerk zum 14-fachen des Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Protrah2010 von Tatjana Valsang im Juni 2015 bei VAN HAM versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 800,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 11.900,00 mehr als 14-mal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tatjana Valsang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Raumebenen" im September 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 14.875,00.
