A top price for Tateishi Harumi - as previously expected
In March last year Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art Including the Collection of David and Nayda Utterberg, which included the work Shirazake (White sake) by Tateishi Harumi. The price achieved of USD 25,200.00 (€ 22,717.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Shirazake (White sake) is the most expensive artwork by Tateishi Harumi that we have observed at auctions so far.
