Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy III, which included the work Landscapes, 1882 by Tao Tao. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,187.00 (€ 2,752.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Tao Tao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Landscapes of the Four Seasons, 1886 was auctioned for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,448.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes, 1882 von Tao Tao zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,00 (€ 2.752,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Tao Tao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Landscapes of the Four Seasons, 1886 für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.448,12) versteigert.
