Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tao Tao achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape And Calligraphy sold for HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,875.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tao Tao; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscapes of the Four Seasons, 1886 sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,448.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tao Tao erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy für HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.875,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tao Tao; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscapes of the Four Seasons, 1886 im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.448,12).
