Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Lotus Pond by Tang Yun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,400.00 (€ 63,722.61), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tang Yun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Various Subjects in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,760,000.00 (€ 270,173.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus Pond von Tang Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.400,00 (€ 63.722,61) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Yun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.760.000,00 (€ 270.173,15).
