Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Chicks and Lychee by Tang Yun. It changed hands for a price of AUD 3,075.00 (€ 1,956.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 2,000.00 – 3,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,760,000.00 (€ 270,173.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chicks and Lychee von Tang Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 3.075,00 (€ 1.956,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 2.000,00 – 3.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.760.000,00 (€ 270.173,15).
