In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Bamboo and Birds by Tang Yun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,623.83), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,760,000.00 (€ 270,173.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo and Birds von Tang Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.623,83) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.760.000,00 (€ 270.173,15).
