Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Towering Rocks Pierce Into The Clouds, Raging Waves Smashed Against The Shores by Tang Da Wu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,656.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Other works by Tang Da Wu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,535.85) in October 2016 for the work without title.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Towering Rocks Pierce Into The Clouds, Raging Waves Smashed Against The Shores von Tang Da Wu kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.656,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Andere Arbeiten von Tang Da Wu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.535,85) im Oktober 2016 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
