Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Christies in London held the auction Thinking Italian Evening Auction, which included this untitled work by Tancredi. The price achieved of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 173,989.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tancredi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Omaggio a Debussy (Il cielo la terra e l’acqua) in October this year with an auction result of EUR 730,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Thinking Italian Evening Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tancredi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 173.989,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tancredi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Omaggio a Debussy (Il cielo la terra e l’acqua) im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 730.800,00.
