Any movement of life in the paintings is the spiritual conversation between the artist and society. Wandering is a free and voluntary solitary status that wanders around in life and imaginary space. “Wandering No. 7” is an exquisite work from this series,extracting objects and emotions from classic painting and deliberately abandon traces of brush. Except for the outlines,only semi-automatic techniques are used to create the special context and texture on the paper,so the objects are air-dry and frozen in an empty space. Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Wandering No.7 by Tan Jun. It changed hands for a price of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 17,921.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00. Other works by Tan Jun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Vegetables 1-4 was auctioned for HKD 253,000.00 (€ 26,047.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wandering No.7 von Tan Jun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 17.921,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 160.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tan Jun konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Vegetables 1-4 für HKD 253.000,00 (€ 26.047,09) versteigert.
