Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Discoveries, which included the work Map 1- Toga Could Not Remember by Tamuna Sirbiladze. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,668.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tamuna Sirbiladze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Map 4 - Adidas Still Life In The Tennis Court, which sold at auction in April 2019 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,724.67).
