Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Paraphernalia” by Tam Ochiai for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 200.98). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary art at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tam Ochiai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Canele in May 2004 with an auction result of USD 11,950.00 (€ 9,781.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Paraphernalia” von Tam Ochiai für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 200,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary art bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tam Ochiai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Canele im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.950,00 (€ 9.781,45).
