Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Decorations For Danny by Tal Mazliach was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,438.00 (€ 2,495.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tal Mazliach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,799.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Decorations For Danny von Tal Mazliach kam im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.438,00 (€ 2.495,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tal Mazliach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.799,85).
