Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venus with Socks by Takeru Amano was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,486.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takeru Amano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leda And The Swan (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Venus with Socks von Takeru Amano kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.486,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takeru Amano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Leda And The Swan (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 257.341,30).
