Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boat Trip by Tahia Halim was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,531.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tahia Halim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Farhat Al Nuba (The Happiness of Nubia) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 749,000.00 (€ 697,328.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boat Trip von Tahia Halim kam im März 2019 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.531,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tahia Halim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Farhat Al Nuba (The Happiness of Nubia) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 749.000,00 (€ 697.328,00).
