The work Architectural Sketches (A Group of 8) by Tadao Ando was worth USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,400.41) to a buyer in September 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadao Ando achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Tea House in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 110,000.00 (€ 72,430.37).

Die Arbeit Architectural Sketches (A Group of 8) von Tadao Ando war einem Käufer im September 2020 USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.400,41) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadao Ando erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Tea House im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.000,00 (€ 72.430,37).
