Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Unknown by Szeto Lap was sold in the Asia+: 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 48,828.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Szeto Lap - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silver Chateau, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 122,793.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Szeto Lap wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Asia+: 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 48.828,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Szeto Lap mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silver Chateau beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 122.793,85) versteigert wurde.
