Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Golden Chateau by Szeto Lap. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,251.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Szeto Lap have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Silver Chateau in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 122,793.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden Chateau von Szeto Lap zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.251,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Szeto Lap auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Silver Chateau im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 122.793,85).
