The work Camellia Ii by Szeto Lap was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,300.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Szeto Lap achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Chateau in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 122,793.85).

Die Arbeit Camellia Ii von Szeto Lap wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.300,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Szeto Lap erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Chateau im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 122.793,85).
