Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mushroom (Colour Map E5 Rage xtc AG) by Sylvie Fleury was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 35,250 (€ 41,793), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sylvie Fleury - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 162,500 (€ 144,624).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mushroom (Colour Map E5 Rage xtc AG) von Sylvie Fleury wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.250 (€ 41.793) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sylvie Fleury mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 162.500 (€ 144.624) versteigert wurde.
