This artwork by Svend Saabye achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Still life with flowers and fruit sold for DKK 6,500.00 (€ 871.97) - well above the estimate of DKK 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Svend Saabye - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Svend Saabye erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern art and design wurde die Arbeit Still life with flowers and fruit für DKK 6.500,00 (€ 871,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Svend Saabye mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51) versteigert wurde.
