Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape by Svend Saabye for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 294.78). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Svend Saabye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape von Svend Saabye für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 294,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Svend Saabye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
