Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Suzuki Kason could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Landscape with pagoda changed hands for DKK 1,600.00 (€ 214.51) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suzuki Kason achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ox herder returning to fishing village in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,944.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Suzuki Kason konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Landscape with pagoda für DKK 1.600,00 (€ 214,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suzuki Kason erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ox herder returning to fishing village im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 14.944,79).
