Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fox and badger by Suzuki Kason was sold in the JAPANESE ART AND DESIGN INCLUDING LACQUER AND WORKS OF ART auction at Christies in London in November 2003. The price achieved of GBP 717.00 (€ 1,029.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suzuki Kason achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ox herder returning to fishing village in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,944.79).

Die Arbeit Fox and badger von Suzuki Kason wurde im November 2003 in der Auktion JAPANESE ART AND DESIGN INCLUDING LACQUER AND WORKS OF ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 717,00 (€ 1.029,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suzuki Kason erzielen.
