Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Suzanne Schweig Martyl could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Volcano Landscape, Japan changed hands for USD 180.00 (€ 141.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suzanne Schweig Martyl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,174.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Suzanne Schweig Martyl konnte im September 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Volcano Landscape, Japan für USD 180,00 (€ 141,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Schweig Martyl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.174,81).
