Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work New Mexico Landscape 1974 by Suzanne Schweig Martyl for USD 960.00 (€ 756.68). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne Schweig Martyl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,174.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit New Mexico Landscape 1974 von Suzanne Schweig Martyl für USD 960,00 (€ 756,68) erwerben. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Schweig Martyl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.174,81) versteigert wurde.
