Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work School Of Chardin by Susan Norrie for USD 956.25 (€ 806.01). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susan Norrie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pageant I, 1987 in November 2018 with an auction result of AUD 40,260.00 (€ 35,555.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit School Of Chardin von Susan Norrie für USD 956,25 (€ 806,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susan Norrie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pageant I, 1987 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 40.260,00 (€ 35.555,95).
